Fellows

Central to the program is the invitation of promising postdoctoral scholars for the period of one academic year to conduct their own research projects in the framework of the initiative. Fellows will be recruited through a call for applications, with an emphasis on invitations of scholars trained in a branch of the historical or philological disciplines. As an interdisciplinary endeavour, scholars from different philological backgrounds will be encouraged to communicate on more general issues that arise from their own individual studies. Fellows are expected to contribute to the program’s on-going activities, conceptualise and organise workshops, and give at least one presentation during their fellowship.
