Zukunftsphilologie organizes international winter and summer schools to support scholarly work in specific research environments.

The program's first winter school took place in December 2010 in Cairo. Its theme was »Textual Practices Beyond Europe 1500-1900«. It was followed in December 2012 by a second winter school on »Philologies Across the Asias: The Translation, Transmission and Transformation of Knowledge in the Early Modern World« in Delhi. In September 2015, the Winter Academy entitled »World Scripts: Concepts and Practices from a Comparative Perspective« was held at the University of Cape Town.
